Throughout the book of Hebrews, the author addresses faith. In chapter 11, the author gives examples of believers exercising their faith and what that looked like. The conclusion, after seeing all these witnesses to faith, according to Hebrews 12:2, is that we “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.” In this section, I hope to begin by reviewing Hebrews 1-10 to examine the context that leads to Hebrews 11:1, where it defines faith, and then look at each example of living by faith in Hebrews 11.
